The helmet-wearing sensor "ENS-HH01" is a wearable sensor designed to prevent accidents caused by not wearing a helmet. It can be easily attached to the chin strap of your helmet and is "waterproof and dustproof," making it widely usable for those working in various environments such as outdoors, factories, forklifts, and cranes. The ENP-BT01J is a wearable product manufactured by RIKEN Keiki Co., Ltd. that quickly notifies nearby workers and supervisors' PCs when gas detectors detect the risk of gas poisoning or oxygen deficiency. By carrying the gas detector and the ENP-BT01J, when the gas detector detects the risk of gas poisoning or oxygen deficiency, it sends alert notifications to the ENP-BT01J carried by nearby workers and to the supervisors' PCs (En-Guard plus for Gas Monitor). Additionally, when danger approaches, workers can press and hold the button on the ENP-BT01J to send an emergency notification (help) to the supervisor. The ENP-BT01J is designed to be "small enough to fit in a smartphone case," "lightweight (137g)," "made of polycarbonate AES with flame retardant, weather resistance, and impact resistance," and is "waterproof and dustproof (IP65)," making it suitable for use in outdoor work environments. Furthermore, communication between the ENH-LR01J and ENP-BT01J uses LoRa communication, so there are no communication costs.

The ENH-LR01J is a USB-connected receiver that can wirelessly communicate with a supervisor (En-Guard Portable ENP-MD01J) located 300m to 1km away. It is used by connecting to the USB port of a PC running the safety monitoring software En-Guard plus. Additionally, communication between the ENH-LR01J and ENH-MD01J uses LoRa communication, so there are no communication fees.

We received a request from a transportation equipment manufacturer to create a system that meets the following two objectives for ensuring labor safety compliance in robot welding operations: (1) Establishing a mechanism to prevent unsafe actions (emergency stop) through a two-person operation involving a supervisor (outside the robot operating area) and an operator (inside the robot operating area). (2) Creating a system that prohibits the robot's teaching operation if the operator is not wearing a helmet correctly. 【Details】 - By connecting the signals from helmet-wearing sensors attached to the chin straps of the helmets worn by the supervisor and operator to the poka-yoke receiver TW-800R-EXS, we can achieve a system where "if the operator is not wearing the helmet correctly, the robot will automatically stop" and "if the supervisor determines it to be unsafe, they can remove the chin strap of the helmet to emergency stop the robot." - After the chin strap of the supervisor's and operator's helmets is removed, we will repeatedly customize the software of the helmet-wearing sensor ENS-HH01 and conduct practical verification to ensure the robot stops appropriately within the correct time frame. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
