Cube-type non-polarizing beam splitter for laser lines

A cube-type non-polarizing beam splitter for laser lines that can separate beams regardless of the incident polarization state.

The TECHSPEC cube-shaped unpolarized beam splitter for laser lines allows for the even division of light into two orthogonal directions, regardless of the incident polarization state. It employs a hybrid coating that combines metal and dielectric films for beam splitting, keeping the transmittance difference between s-polarized and p-polarized light below 3%. Designed for use with Nd:YAG and He-Ne lasers, it offers three coating options at 1064nm, 632nm, and 532nm. An AR coating is applied to the entrance and exit surfaces of the prism to enhance transmission efficiency, achieving a reflectance of less than 0.25% per surface. To minimize beam displacement to less than 2', it is easy to implement in applications where alignment is critical. ■ Transmittance difference between s-polarized and p-polarized light is less than 3% ■ AR coating achieving R<0.25% on entrance and exit surfaces ■ Options for Nd:YAG and He-Ne lasers *You can download the catalog featuring this product from Edmund Optics Japan below.

Telecentric backlight illuminator

Improved measurement accuracy with lighting! - This backlight illumination achieves high-contrast silhouette images with collimated light (parallel light).

The TECHSPEC Telecentric Backlight Illuminator utilizes a telecentric optical design to illuminate objects with truly collimated light, forming high-contrast silhouette images. Standard backlight illumination diffuses light to avoid the occurrence of hotspots, but this diffusion reduces the contrast of the contours due to scattered reflection from the object. The telecentric backlight illuminator uses collimated light (parallel light) to enhance the contrast of the contours, thereby improving measurement accuracy. Additionally, when combined with telecentric lenses, it becomes ideal for machine vision applications that require precise measurements. It is compatible with coaxial LEDs for 8mm diameter ports and fiber light guides with a 6.4mm bundle diameter (7.9mm socket diameter). ■ Improved contour contrast with collimated light ■ Excellent collimation, ideal for use with telecentric lenses *You can download the catalog featuring this product from Edmund Optics Japan below.

Powell Laser Line Generator Lens

A laser line generator lens that converts a laser beam into a uniform laser line light.

Our Powell laser line generator lens, optimized for a 0.8mm diameter laser beam incidence, converts the laser beam into a uniform laser line light. Typically, cylindrical lenses or rod lenses are used for line formation of laser light, but the lines formed by these lenses tend to be bright in the center with a wide line width, while the edges of the line are darker and have a narrow line width (Gaussian distribution). In contrast, the Powell lens creates laser line light with a uniform light energy distribution along the entire length of the line. 【Features】 ■ Ideal for alignment and machine vision applications ■ Available in multiple line emission angles ■ Forms a uniform laser line *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan featuring this product from the link below.
