We have released a "UI/HMI Design Checklist" that allows for a self-check of UI/HMI for industrial equipment, manufacturing devices, control systems, and commercial devices, based on 30 items and 6 perspectives. You can review the current operation screen in about 5 minutes from six perspectives: prioritization of information, visibility and readability, ease of operation, prevention of erroneous operations, response to warnings and abnormalities, and compatibility with the on-site environment. This checklist can also be useful for initial checks in cases such as "the operation screen is difficult to understand," "it has become complicated due to added functions," or "I want to improve the UI but don't know where to start." The PDF consists of 9 pages. It is available for free and does not require registration.
