The "UDS-FM" is an optical foreign matter removal device for tea leaves that can select a versatile model compatible with various types of tea leaves, including dedicated green tea machines, hojicha, and black tea. The dedicated green tea machine uses a near-infrared camera to detect foreign matter without chlorophyll, while a transparent foreign matter detection camera removes transparent foreign substances. The "UDR-S/UDR-F series" is a color sorting machine for tea leaves and spices that detects and removes foreign objects of different colors using a full-color CCD camera. A dedicated CCD camera for removing same-color foreign objects detects and removes foreign objects that are similar in color to the product. For raw materials with high chlorophyll content, a chlorophyll detection camera (F) is used, while a near-infrared camera (S) is used for other tea leaves. When sufficiently dried tea leaves are subjected to vibration, the leaves and stems rub against each other, naturally acquiring a negative charge for the leaves and a positive charge for the stems.
