The meat specialty restaurant "Niku no Hosoda," operated by a long-established business with over 100 years of history, has a food philosophy that is thoroughly committed to quality ingredients and hygiene. Twenty years ago, they introduced a super hypochlorous acid generation system for hygiene management. Recently, one unit was not enough, so they added a second unit, and they are also using super hypochlorous acid in their newly established ham processing facility. It is used for sterilizing cooking utensils, cleaning floors, and disinfecting and deodorizing airborne bacteria through space spraying, utilizing two types of super hypochlorous acid at different temperatures to remove grease. There are also disinfecting and deodorizing effects from space spraying. "Super Hypochlorous Water" is a disinfecting and deodorizing water that has been adjusted to a weakly acidic pH using a sodium hypochlorite solution. By adjusting the pH to a weakly acidic level, the proportion of hypochlorous acid (HClO) is increased, allowing for efficient disinfection and deodorization at low concentrations. In July 2018, the heavy rains in western Japan caused significant damage, including landslides and flooding in a wide area, including Hiroshima, Okayama, and Ehime. HSP has engaged in disaster relief activities, including the free provision of this product, which has been used in previous disasters, to the affected areas in western Japan. We would like to introduce a case where the "Steri Mixer Series" super hypochlorous acid generation system was installed at the Animal Life Science Research Center in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Super hypochlorous acid is used not only to reduce bacteria from feces and other sources but also for cleaning hands and equipment, as well as for disinfecting work and experimental clothing. It has been installed in all animal rooms and operating rooms, as well as in hallways, restrooms, and common areas alongside regular tap water. We would like to introduce a case where a super hypochlorous acid generation device, the "Steri Mixer series," was introduced at a psychiatric hospital in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It was implemented because it is very effective for space disinfection, hand washing, deodorization, and more. Super hypochlorous acid is actively used within the hospital due to its high safety for cleaning food and disinfecting the environment.
