CX coating possesses properties such as waterproofing, moisture resistance, insulation, and biocompatibility. It forms a thin, transparent film through room temperature processing. Let's protect medical and electronic components.

CX coating can protect products in the medical and electronic component markets from various factors as a multifunctional high-performance coating. ◆ Waterproof and Moisture-Proof Our lineup of PPX single-layer films and CX coat + SiO2 laminated films excels in waterproof and moisture-proof performance. In particular, by layering our technology, PPX and SiO2, we achieve performance that is 400 to 1000 times better than conventional PPX single-layer films. ◆ Chemical Resistance This PPX coating has high chemical stability and is very resistant to basic acids and alkalis. If you are considering use near chemicals, testing with our films may be very effective. ◆ Heat Resistance and Insulation Depending on the type of film, PPX coatings can have heat resistance up to about 350°C. Insulation properties vary with film thickness, affecting breakdown voltage. We select the type of film based on the application and make recommendations to our customers. We can provide the above performance with a thin film coating (5μm). Our standard film thickness is recommended at 5μm, and we can propose and consult on film thickness based on application and environment. By integrating the work spindle with a built-in motor, we eliminated gear transmission, resulting in improved pitch accuracy. It has become possible to improve the dents around the tooth profile PCD. The multilayer coating of Coat-X is effective for waterproofing and moisture resistance. We will introduce the results of measuring the water vapor permeability. It is a higher performance coating than conventional single-layer coatings.

This article presents the results of measuring the water vapor transmission rates of the multilayer coatings CX-mC and CX-mF from Coat-X. Our company processes polymer monolayers and multilayer coatings of polymer + SiO2, and this time we compared three types: monolayer, CX-mC, and CX-mF. We hope this helps you envision which coating is suitable for your application. The water vapor transmission rate is the value indicating how many grams of water vapor (moisture) pass through one square meter in 24 hours. (Unit: g/m²/day) Polymer monolayer: 8 g/m²/day CX-mC (multilayer coating): 0.0065 g/m²/day, heat resistance: 115°C CX-mF (multilayer coating): 0.013 g/m²/day, heat resistance: 350°C CX-mC offers excellent moisture barrier properties but has a heat resistance of about 115°C. CX-mF has slightly lower moisture barrier performance compared to CX-mC but maintains a heat resistance of about 350°C. It has been confirmed that both coatings have moisture resistance approximately 100 times greater than the monolayer for CX-mF and about 1000 times greater for CX-mC.
