Improving energy efficiency is a challenge in next-generation vehicles. To address this challenge, it is necessary to more accurately understand energy losses, and to precisely capture even slight torque fluctuations in the power transmission mechanism. The TQ-3507 flange-type high-rigidity torque detector, developed with a target torque capacity of 5 kNm, can accurately detect minute torque variations.

In the automotive industry, electrification is rapidly advancing, and many types of motors are being used, leading to a demand for motors that minimize cogging torque and torque ripple, which can cause vibrations and noise. Therefore, there is a need for a highly rigid torque detector that can accurately capture torque fluctuations. On the other hand, there is an increasing demand for high-speed rotation specifications for motors used in EV scooters and compressors for air conditioners overseas. We have developed a torque detector that can meet these demands.
