We offer "LMJ (Laser Micro Jet) processing," suitable for diamond machining, regardless of whether it is natural, synthetic, single crystal, or polycrystalline. High aspect ratio groove processing is possible with a focus-free parallel beam. Evaluation of LMJ technology can be conducted through sample processing. Additionally, advice from experienced process engineers is available. Please feel free to consult us about any specific technical challenges in semiconductors, ceramics, hard tools, aerospace, or other areas. 【Features】 ■ Clean processing without sputter adhesion is possible due to the use of ultra-pure water. ■ High aspect ratio groove processing is achievable with a focus-free parallel beam. ■ Prototype processing for evaluation and contract processing during mass production startup are also available. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationSwiss company Synova, which has innovative laser cutting technology, and Japanese company Makino Milling Machine Co., Ltd., known for its high-performance and high-quality precision technology, will jointly announce a groundbreaking manufacturing device for gas turbine components using laser microjet technology. This new manufacturing device not only dramatically reduces the processing time required to drill cooling holes in rotating machinery components but also contributes to the development of excellent cooling technologies aimed at improving gas turbine performance and extending the lifespan of components. This manufacturing technology is planned to be utilized in the production of GE's state-of-the-art gas turbines and, in the future, in the manufacturing of GE aircraft engines. Components installed in the hot gas path of rotating machinery are exposed to temperatures exceeding 1,300°C, requiring special materials with heat-resistant coatings. The new manufacturing device using laser microjet technology can create precise holes in these special materials, enabling accurate cooling effects for each component. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Free membership registrationThe "MCS Series" is a laser processing machine newly developed by Makino Milling Machine Co., Ltd. for LMJ processing. It enables high-precision processing of metals and ceramics, such as cutting, drilling, and grooving, through its high-precision X, Y, Z axes and rotary axis. All controls can be managed from an intuitive touchscreen. The laser oscillator and water pump necessary for processing are all built into the main unit. 【Features】 ■ Water jet ejected from nozzles with a diameter of 100μm or less ■ Creates total reflection phenomena at the water-air interface, directing the laser beam straight to the material ■ Low water pressure flow exerts minimal force on the workpiece, having little impact on ultra-fine materials ■ The water jet removes melted substances, preventing contamination ■ Allows for high-precision processing by rapidly repeating melting and cooling, minimizing thermal effects For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Free membership registrationThe Swiss company Synova, which holds the basic patent for water jet-guided laser (laser microjet technology), has developed the 5-axis machining center 'MCS150'. By passing a water jet with a diameter of less than 100μm, it suppresses heat generation and enables efficient and precise processing while directing high-power lasers onto the material. In addition to having superior "cooling effects" compared to air lasers, it can remove molten material using a water jet without the need for assist gas, allowing for processing with minimal burrs and reduced thermal impact. 【A new demonstration center has been established.】 ■ It is the largest among our demonstration centers. ■ It will be opened at the Makino Milling Machine Co., Ltd. Atsugi office. ■ Two 3-axis machining machines and one simultaneous 5-axis machining machine for diamond tool processing will be permanently available. (Another simultaneous 5-axis machining machine will be added in early 2015.)

Free membership registrationThe "MCS Series" is a high-precision water laser processing machine. It can process holes (0.76mmφ) in superalloy (8mm thick) in 70 seconds. With high machine accuracy (error +/-1.5km), the cutting width is a minimum of 30μm. Additionally, due to water jet cooling, there is virtually no thermal impact, and it enables perfectly parallel cutting edges and hole processing with a cylindrical beam. 【Features】 ■ High speed and accuracy ■ Cooling and removal ■ User-friendly *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
