■Textile Business We are widely engaged in the "textile" business, including inner and legwear as well as outerwear, covering everything from yarn to finished products. We operate under a consistent system that handles product planning and commercialization of materials and fabrics. In addition to supplying products through OEM and ODM leveraging our material strength, planning ability, and proposal capability, we also develop our own brand. Furthermore, we aim for further business expansion by building various business models on a global stage. ■Industrial Products Business Based on cutting-edge technology and specialized know-how, we continue to expand globally in three areas: "chemicals," "machinery and materials," and "hobby and life," while being mindful of the environment. We handle a variety of products, from large equipment aimed at reducing the weight of automobiles to items that enrich daily life, such as hobby supplies, cosmetic ingredients, and films for PET bottles. ■Nanotechnology Business Nanotechnology is the technology that controls substances at the nanometer level. At GSI Creos, we conduct research and development on "carbon nanotubes," a representative material of nanotechnology, and have already succeeded in commercializing it. The application products are highly regarded as technologies and materials that significantly contribute to reducing environmental impact.
