Shinano Kogyo Co., Ltd. has been striving since its establishment in 1972 with the goal of "While it may be impossible to be number one in quantity in Japan or the world, it is not impossible to be number one in quality if we make an effort." As the first achievement shortly after our founding, we succeeded in mass-producing carbon shafts just one year after the start of mass production by the pioneering American company Aldila. Subsequently, we also succeeded in mass production of fishing rods using UD (unidirectional cross) carbon material, and we have continued to supply major domestic manufacturers since then. Currently, we are on track with the production of long pipes and large-diameter pipes that require high strength and high precision. At the same time, we are diligently working on the development of various machine engineering necessary for manufacturing these products. Currently, Shinano Kogyo operates all manufacturing equipment in-house, and we also supply various machine engineering solutions to major manufacturers both domestically and internationally. Today, carbon fiber has gained significant demand, from cutting-edge technology to everyday tools, establishing itself as a crucial industrial material. With this technology, we will continue to strive and advance to contribute further to societal development.
