A panel mount type with a size of Φ17.6mm has been added to the lineup of Same Sky's push button switches. Available in illuminated/non-illuminated and dome/dimple top shapes (concave), these momentary and alternate action types are offered with IP67 waterproofing.

Same Sky's pin header, socket, and box header products support a 2.54mm pitch, pin counts from 1 to 40 pins, a 2.54mm pitch, a 6mm mating length, and a 3mm post length. Same Sky's pin headers and box headers feature gold-plated contact finishes, a rated voltage of 250Vdc, a rated current of 3A, and an operating temperature range of -40 to 105°C.

CUi Japan Co., Ltd. has announced the addition of a waterproof Micro USB 2.0 connector to its USB product family. The UJ2W-MIBH-4-SMT is a micro B-type jack connector with an IPX7 protection rating, designed to protect against liquids and moisture in harsh environments. With copper alloy contact terminals that are nickel-plated and gold-plated with 30 microinches (µin) on a stainless steel shield, the UJ2W-MIBH-4-SMT is designed for excellent durability with 10,000 mating cycles. This series features a surface mount package and horizontal type with a voltage rating of 30 Vac, a current rating of 1.8 A, and an operating temperature range of -25 to 85°C. To enhance stability on the board, it also includes plastic mounting ears. This micro B USB connector, compliant with the USB 2.0 standard, enables high-speed data transfer and power delivery, making it ideal for various I/O applications in outdoor appliances and portable electronic devices such as mobile computing equipment, digital audio devices, camcorders, and GPS units.

The NEMA11-AMT112S series, which combines a small NEMA 11 stepper motor with CUI's AMT11 incremental encoder, offers a reliable motor and motion control feedback solution in a convenient single package. This series features a maximum holding torque of 16.6 oz-in (0.12 N-m), a maximum of 4096 PPR incremental solution, and a digitally set zero position. This encoder can be fully programmed in combination with the motor without removing the encoder from the motor via CUI's AMT Viewpoint(TM) software. Additionally, when combined with a controller for a complete servo system, it provides closed-loop feedback.

CUI's audio group announced today the addition of a waterproof micro speaker model with an IP67 rating for ingress protection (IP) to CUI's product family. The waterproof speaker, housed in a compact package measuring just 15x11mm and only 2.5mm thick, is ideal for handheld electronic devices that are susceptible to the effects of water droplets and environmental contaminants in industrial and outdoor applications. These rectangular frame models provide a sound pressure level (SPL) of 90–93dB at 0.1m, a nominal input of 0.7W, a resonance frequency of 550–800Hz, and an impedance of 6 or 8 ohms. Additionally, all series offer spring contacts, solder pads, and lead wire mounting styles, and are constructed with neodymium magnets and Mylar cones for enhanced durability.

The CUI CMM series, boasting improved audio quality, performance, and high reliability, features a very compact housing with a low-profile footprint of 2.75 x 1.85 x 0.95 mm. This MEMS microphone is compatible with reflow soldering, providing designers with additional flexibility in applications requiring surface mounting. It is ideal for voice recording and voice capture in smartphones, tablets, smart home devices, and wearables. CUI's MEMS microphones are omnidirectional and offer analog or digital pulse density modulation (PDM) output with top or bottom port positions. Each model in the CMM series comes in circular or rectangular form factors, with sensitivity ratings ranging from -44 dB to -26 dB and signal-to-noise ratios from 57 dBA to 65 dBA. This MEMS microphone also provides reduced vibration sensitivity, a low current of at least 80 microamperes (µA), and a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C.

A new 100W 8-pin type has been added to the lineup of power-only USB Type C connectors, which significantly reduces costs by minimizing data transfer pins. (The conventional model is a 6-pin type that supports up to 60W, but the cost is even more advantageous.) It offers good cost performance for applications that require only power without data.
