TANAX Product Lineup

In logistics, it is not uncommon to use boxes that do not fit the size of the shipped items, leading to excessive material use, wasted space, and increased shipping costs. Furthermore, the fixed box sizes contribute to challenges such as the excessive use of cushioning materials and increased labor time, which further pressure logistics costs. Just Fit BOX is a cardboard automatic manufacturing system born from the idea of optimizing the size of boxes to address these issues. By generating boxes of the appropriate size on-site for the products, it helps to reassess the overall logistics costs, including material costs, shipping fees, and labor hours, and supports the establishment of efficient and sustainable packaging processes.

We would like to introduce a case where Trusco Nakayama Corporation implemented our "Just fit BOX." In the packaging operations for increasing large products, even experienced workers faced significant time and effort in tasks such as connecting cardboard, making it particularly challenging for beginners. After implementation, part-time employees and new hires were able to start working immediately, and standardization of the packaging process has been achieved. [Case Overview] ■ Purpose of Implementation: Reduction of packaging time for large products ■ Deciding Factor: Intuitive operability that anyone can use immediately ■ Achieved Effects: Packaging efficiency increased tenfold, reduction in transportation costs, improvement in customer satisfaction ■ Implementation Locations: Introduced at six logistics centers nationwide *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case where Kodama Glass Co., Ltd. implemented our "Just fit BOX." In response to customer orders, they were creating packaging cases by hand for each individual order, which was causing delays and becoming a bottleneck. Therefore, it was necessary to review each process. After implementation, the division of labor for packaging tasks by workers was achieved, and they have successfully increased the number of shipments per day steadily. [Case Overview] ■ Purpose of Implementation: Elimination of bottlenecks in manual packaging work ■ Key Factor for Implementation: Utilization of the "Manufacturing Subsidy" program ■ Achieved Effects: Improved work efficiency, increased shipment volume and sales *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce an overseas case study where our "Just fit BOX" was implemented at ERKELENZ. There was a need to significantly reduce the packaging time for custom-made products and improve the production process. Previously, there were challenges with the aesthetic quality of the packaging due to the use of patched-up standard cardboard. After implementation, cardboard that perfectly fits any custom-made product can be manufactured on-site immediately, achieving on-demand packaging operations. [Case Overview] ■ Purpose of Implementation: Significant reduction in packaging time for custom-made products and improvement of the production process ■ Key Factor for Implementation: Ability to make packaging operations on-demand, enabling overall efficiency in the workplace ■ Achieved Effects: Reduction in labor costs, elimination of unnecessary workspace, enhancement of brand value *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce an overseas case study where BIC SPORTS implemented our "Just fit BOX." In the packaging operations of long and large products exceeding 65,000 items per year, they faced three challenges: "burden of inventory management," "burden of packaging operations," and "burden of transportation costs." After implementation, they successfully began to freely manufacture cardboard boxes perfectly sized for their products in-house, achieving a return on machinery costs in just one year. [Case Overview] ■ Purpose of Implementation: Reduce logistics costs and optimize logistics ■ Deciding Factor for Implementation: Ability to freely manufacture cardboard on demand in-house ■ Achieved Effects: Reduced burden of inventory management tasks, shortened packaging operation time, and reduced material and transportation costs ■ Other Effects: Reduced risk of product damage during transportation *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Among the processes that support logistics, packaging and packing are areas that are often overlooked. The challenges faced on-site, such as labor shortages, rising logistics costs, and the need for environmental considerations, are becoming increasingly complex each year, and many of these issues stem from the "packaging process." Since its founding in the Meiji era, TANAX has continuously engaged with the concept of "packaging." We view packaging and packing not merely as operational processes, but as crucial elements that support the quality, efficiency, and environmental responsiveness of logistics, and we propose improvements tailored to the specific needs of each site.

In the logistics field, there is a tendency for challenges in the packaging and packing processes to accumulate amidst the daily shipping operations. Do you have any of the following concerns? ▼ Insufficient manpower is causing packaging work to become a bottleneck - It is difficult to secure workers - During peak seasons, the work cannot keep up ▼ There is a lot of waste in packaging materials and box sizes - The boxes are too large for the products, resulting in unnecessary shipping costs - A large amount of cushioning material is used to fill gaps ▼ I want to focus on environmental considerations, but I don't know where to start - I want to review excessive packaging - There is increasing demand for reducing plastic and waste
