Since June 2002, the Fire Service Act has established an upper limit for flash points, and lubricating oils with a flash point of 250°C or higher are excluded from hazardous materials and classified as flammable liquids. Since its establishment in 1974, Yamane Construction Co., Ltd. in Hiroshima Prefecture has contributed to the local community through marine civil engineering using its own marine cranes. Since its establishment in 1947, Company B in Saitama Prefecture has contributed to the local community through machining and assembly technology for automotive parts. We would like to introduce a case study where they adopted the coolant "Master Cool" for machining difficult-to-cut materials. In end mill machining of heat-resistant difficult-to-cut material SUS430, the tool life was shorter compared to machining other materials, leading to the use of coolant at a high concentration. This not only increased the amount of coolant needed but also worsened the workplace environment due to increased stickiness in the machining area. To address the challenges of machining difficult-to-cut materials that require higher processing technology, they adopted a coolant specifically designed for such materials. After adoption, they successfully reduced the coolant supply amount and improved the working environment. Since its establishment as a truck body manufacturer in 1940, Company A in the Tokai area has been responsible for the production of commercial vehicles and contributing to the local community. We would like to introduce a case where they adopted the "Chain Master" for high-temperature drive systems. The painting drying furnace operates in a high-temperature environment of 150 to 180°C to cure the electrocoated paint on the vehicle body. This causes the oil for the conveyor chain inside the furnace to evaporate, leading to increased wear due to reduced lubrication, which shortens the chain's lifespan and increases the frequency of replacements, resulting in significant maintenance costs. "Daphne Oil 7373, 7575, 7676" is used as a pressure medium oil for high-pressure experiments and the like.
