This is a sensor node that can be easily retrofitted to existing mechanical analog single-needle meters (such as pressure gauges and thermometers) to achieve IoT functionality. It contributes to the labor-saving, automation of data acquisition, and reduction of personnel in regular inspection and maintenance tasks. We enable the IoT transformation of instruments installed in "explosion-proof" areas, such as chemical plants, where there is a risk of fire and explosion, achieving efficiency in inspection operations and stable operations. We eliminate the cumbersome tasks of directly visually confirming mechanical meter indicators and manually writing down values, allowing for the digital acquisition of indicator values simply by retrofitting existing analog meters like pressure gauges. ■■Product Features■■ - Intrinsically safe explosion-proof structure This is an intrinsically safe explosion-proof structure that can be used in ZONE 1 (hazard level 1 area). - Remote monitoring The values indicated by analog meters are digitized, allowing for remote monitoring and inspection. - Safety measures It reduces inspection work in hazardous locations such as high places and dark areas.

We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of the "IoT Angle Sensor Unit" at TMES Corporation. The company was considering the establishment of a maintenance management system that utilizes IoT devices to improve operational efficiency and enable unmanned operations at night, amid a labor shortage due to declining birth rates and an aging population. Our product was installed at 60 locations, including pumps, air conditioning fans, and exhaust fans, and the process was carried out quickly and without much hassle. By also utilizing image sensors, temperature sensors, and leak sensors, we achieved more precise equipment management.
