"AbcCore" is a general-purpose force tactile IC that controls the force of various actuators (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic), including servo motors. In addition to position, speed, and force control (motion control) functions, by connecting two motors to AbcCore and synchronizing their movements instantly, bilateral control that transmits force tactile feedback from distant locations can be easily achieved. Moreover, it calculates the load force on the motors using an estimation algorithm, eliminating the need for force sensors or torque sensors. Since it can digitize force while controlling motor movement, it not only serves as an alternative to expensive force sensors but also enables the recording and reproduction of force adjustments in machines and robots. 【Features】 ■ Position, speed, and force control (motion control) ■ Delicate control of force adjustments ■ Real-time transmission of force tactile feedback ■ Force measurement without using force sensors ■ Versatility to utilize commercially available motors *We are engaged in product development using embedded systems and force tactile controllers. This is an operation unit that uses two Universal Robots to transmit tactile sensations. It allows for the easy extraction of human motion skills to automate robots. Using cutting-edge technology known as Real Haptics, the sensations of objects touched by Universal Robots and the force exerted by the operator are transmitted accurately to remote locations, enabling remote execution of delicate tasks that require a sense of touch. It is suitable for automating and remote controlling light tasks such as processing, cleaning, picking, and assembly, as well as hazardous work. <Usage Image Videos> - Polishing work using electric tools (grinder polishing) https://youtu.be/pOVvwM75iJE - Cleaning work (dust removal from surfaces) https://youtu.be/MJdAc-Rk8HU - Connector joining work https://youtu.be/Nyct5LjbEq8 - Food plating work https://youtu.be/7VPx-sSVwxE *Real Haptics is a control technology invented at Keio University that can accurately transmit human force and the tactile sensations of objects to remote locations.
