We will hold a seminar titled "Cabinet Office: Key Points and Remaining Issues of the 'Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Act' Amendment." The Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Act is a special law under the Personal Information Protection Act that promotes the utilization of medical data while protecting personal information. However, there have been criticisms regarding the previous framework, as the "anonymized medical information" that is utilized is difficult to use for research due to the removal of rare disease names, and its application for drug approval has also been challenging. The amended bill was enacted in the regular session of the National Diet in 2023 and has been in effect since April of this year. The main contents of the amendment include the establishment of a system that allows the use of "pseudonymized medical information" and the possibility of linking data from this law with data from sources like the NDB. In the lecture, in addition to an explanation of the amended law, we will provide detailed information on the government's efforts to promote the secondary use of medical data, as far as possible. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: July 12 (Friday) 10:00 - 11:30 (Doors open at 9:30) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Speaker: Cabinet Office Deputy Director of the Health and Medical Strategy Promotion Office (Concurrent) Cabinet Secretariat Councilor Mr. Keiji Takebayashi *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Our company will hold a seminar on "Practical Aspects of Urban Redevelopment Projects." In recent years, many urban redevelopment projects based on the Urban Redevelopment Act have been planned and implemented, particularly in urban areas such as Tokyo. Promoting urban redevelopment projects requires a very complex process compared to the usual building replacements, including gathering consensus among neighboring landowners and obtaining approvals from the government, which can take a long time to complete. However, by being carried out as public works, large-scale redevelopment that includes relaxations of floor area ratios becomes feasible. Additionally, with the increase in urban redevelopment, there are also more cases considering the use of Special Purpose Companies (SPCs), but there are several legal considerations when utilizing SPCs. This seminar will provide an overview of the complex Urban Redevelopment Act and will also explain in detail the practical considerations when using SPCs. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: August 9 (Friday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Speaker: Toki Uechi, Partner and Attorney at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto Law Firm *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Our company will hold a seminar titled "Price Strategies, Development Strategy Directions, and Business Opportunities in the Semiconductor Industry." The semiconductor industry is subject to unavoidable cycles of ups and downs (cyclical theory), but on the other hand, it is returning to a phase where speed is the top priority, resulting in a structure of "cyclical growth" where the peak of the next cycle exceeds that of the previous cycle (structural theory). Mizuho Securities believes that the semiconductor industry has entered its second growth cycle. We will illustrate the differences from the low-growth era since 2000 (the latter half of the first growth cycle) and highlight the commonalities with the semiconductor industry up to the mid-1990s (the first half of the first growth cycle) with specific examples. We will detail the new price strategies, the direction of development strategies including government involvement, the upcoming technology roadmap, and key factors that will serve as significant turning points. 【Seminar Details】 ■ Date and Time: July 17 (Wednesday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Speaker: Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. Our company will hold a seminar titled "Current Status, Challenges, and Development of Core Rocket Launch Transportation Services." The H-IIA, Japan's core rocket, had its first launch in 2001. In response to the Japanese government's privatization policy, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has been providing a consistent service from order to launch, not only manufacturing rockets, since the 13th unit launched in 2007. The ability to continue this business for many years is undoubtedly the result of the collective wisdom of "government," "public," and "private" sectors. Now, the H-IIA is reaching its end, and we are transitioning to the new H3. In this seminar, from the perspective of the "private" sector, we will detail the H-IIA launch transportation service business, starting with the required functions of the rocket, the flow from manufacturing to launch, the challenges of launching, and the efforts to pass on the reliability and brand power we have cultivated to the H3 rocket. ■ Date and Time: June 28 (Friday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Speaker: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Our company will hold a seminar titled "Progress and Future Developments of Urban Development around Sapporo Station." The extension of the Hokkaido Shinkansen to Sapporo is scheduled for the end of fiscal year 2030. This extension will significantly shorten travel time between Honshu and Hokkaido, leading to expected economic and social benefits in Hokkaido.
