RIASORB UV-1577 is a powder ultraviolet absorber with a triazine structure. Like UV-400, it is a UV absorber that has a peak absorption in the UV-B region (around 280nm and 340nm), characteristic of triazines. RIASORB UV-1130 is a high-performance UVA that is liquid, making it excellent for handling when used in liquid products such as paints. It is difficult to volatilize and has excellent heat resistance. It is used in automotive paints, industrial paints, and other coatings in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) such as RIASORB UV-292 and RIASORB UV-123. RIASORB UV 384-2 is a liquid benzotriazole-based UV absorber primarily used in coatings. It is suitable for applications exposed to high temperatures or extreme conditions for extended periods, such as automotive paints and industrial coatings. Being a liquid product, it is also widely used in water-based paints. RIASORB UV-928 is a new type of benzotriazole-based ultraviolet absorber developed specifically for high-performance paint applications. It has a relatively wide absorption wavelength range, effectively protecting coatings and materials. Additionally, it possesses high solubility, compatibility, heat resistance, and durability, making it suitable for high-temperature processing such as powder coatings and coil coatings. RIASORB UV-928 demonstrates a synergistic effect when used in combination with hindered amine-based light stabilizers, contributing to the prevention of color change, maintenance of gloss, prevention of cracks and bubbles, and prevention of interlayer peeling in paints. In Japan, UV 384-2 and UV-1130 are often used for paint applications. RIASORB UV-770 is used in many polymers such as PP, PE, TPO, EPDM, PS, ABS, TPU, PA, and POM. Due to the minimal difference in effects based on thickness, it is widely used from films to molded products. By using it in conjunction with antioxidants, thermal stability can be enhanced, and a synergistic effect can be expected when used with ultraviolet absorbers. Caution is necessary when used in combination with thioether-based compounds such as DSTP and DLTP due to antagonistic effects. Due to its basic nature, if there are concerns about the acidity of the material itself, we recommend UV-622. RIASORB UV-622 is a low-basicity N-R type HALS. HALS protects polymers from UV-induced photodegradation and thermal decomposition caused by long-term heat by capturing radicals generated within the polymer. RIASORB UV-622 has high compatibility with polymers, excellent volatility resistance, migration resistance, and extraction resistance, as well as outstanding thermal stability during processing. RIASORB UV-622 has a low melting point and is used in PP, PE, PS, unsaturated polyester, PMMA, PVC, and elastomers. It interacts minimally with pigments and demonstrates high weather resistance in outdoor applications when combined with phenolic antioxidants, phosphorous antioxidants, and HALS or UV absorbers of different molecular weights. UV-622 has an alkyl group coordinated to the piperidine ring, resulting in a lower basicity structure compared to N-H types like UV-770. If there are concerns about the acidity of the polymer or formulation, the use of UV-622 is recommended. Caution is necessary when used in combination with thioether-based antioxidants such as DSTP and DLTP, as they may have antagonistic effects.

RIASORB UV-660 is a unique multifunctional additive tailored for polyamides. By adding RIASORB UV-660 to polyamides, it is possible to enhance the melt processing performance of polyamides, stabilize the melt pressure of nylon, facilitate smoother processing, and reduce fiber breakage during spinning. This highly compatible additive, which provides long-lasting effects, can offer excellent stabilization effects to polyamides that cannot be achieved with other conventional stabilizers.
