■Issues and Causes In the factory inspection area, more time was spent on tasks before and after measurement, such as recording and inputting measurement results, than on the measurement itself. The measurement devices (calipers, micrometers, three-dimensional measuring machines, etc.) and recording systems (Excel, dedicated inspection systems, MES, QC process charts) were separate, requiring a double task of "measurement → note-taking → PC input," which decreased work efficiency. ■Solution We introduced a voice input inspection data registration system called "WorkingVoice." This allowed measurement results to be input by voice, enabling simultaneous execution of measurement and recording tasks. As a result, workers could move on to the next measurement without using their hands, eliminating the traditional double task and successfully shortening the average cycle time. ■Effects After Implementation Workers became able to report measurement results without using their hands, reducing human errors through voice feedback.
