The nanosized metal oxide sol particles synthesized using our sol synthesis technology are characterized by high transparency due to their highly dispersed nature with minimal aggregation or precipitation. It is possible to form transparent and uniform thin films on substrates where transparency is emphasized, with thicknesses on the order of several tens of nanometers.

Our company is developing a hydrophilic coating material using a titania sol liquid in which titanium dioxide (TiO2) is dispersed as nanoparticles. Our hydrophilic coating material excels in hydrophilicity, transparency, and self-cleaning functionality. The superhydrophilicity of titanium dioxide refers to the phenomenon where the surface of titanium dioxide becomes highly compatible with water when exposed to ultraviolet light, causing water droplets to spread thinly and form a film. This allows water droplets to spread across the surface, encapsulating dirt and washing it away, thereby exhibiting a self-cleaning effect. Our titania sol liquid can be applied in various applications such as high refractive index materials, anti-fogging materials, photocatalysts, and anti-reflective materials. By using a single nano-sized titania sol liquid manufactured through our unique sol-gel synthesis technology, it is possible to form transparent and uniform thin films on the order of several tens of nanometers. Since it can form a highly transparent thin film on substrates, it demonstrates anti-fogging performance due to superhydrophilicity and self-cleaning performance due to photocatalytic functionality when applied to automotive mirrors, building glass, outdoor cameras, and more.
