Blade Punch

Special punch for soft material processing

The tip of the punch can be processed with a blade and incorporated into a punching die. It is particularly effective when processing soft materials. The blade angle is 0° on the outside and 30° on the inside, with a blade height of 2mm. When viewed from the side, it has a U-shaped profile, which reduces the load during punching, thereby decreasing the burden on the product. If you are facing issues such as cracks appearing in products where the dimensions change significantly with a flat punch, we recommend our blade punch.

SSE-VI01 primarily conducts appearance inspections after processing for press-formed products such as reinforcement plates made of SUS or aluminum (inspections for burrs, scratches, etc., and confirmation of the presence or absence of cuts). We are providing technical materials to prevent the occurrence of defects caused by scrap during press processing!

The accumulation of scrap during press processing can lead to defects caused by product dents, as well as damage or breakage of punches, dies, and fixtures, making it one of the issues that can result in defects during press processing. Factors contributing to scrap accumulation include adhesion due to vacuum, adhesion to the punch, and lifting caused by compressed air in the die. To dramatically reduce scrap accumulation, it is possible to process the cutting edge of the punch, add air holes to the punch, and attach ejector pins. We are devising ways to implement these countermeasures without needing additional measures after mass production begins, considering when to apply these measures and which methods are the most cost-effective.

The pressing roller is driven by an air cylinder! The feeder and three auxiliary rollers bond the adhesive material.

The "SSE-LS01" is a multilayer film laminating device that transports film materials used in flexible substrates and similar applications in a roll-to-roll manner. During this process, it performs tasks such as removing unnecessary parts of the film, applying protective paper, and peeling or inserting interleaving paper on the work stage of the device, ultimately finishing the product. The film material is transported by a roll feeder.
