I would like to introduce a case study on leadership training for mid-level employees that begins with self-understanding. At a comprehensive chemical manufacturer, a curriculum was implemented for employees expected to be mid-level leaders, aimed at recognizing the roles expected of them in the workplace and organizing the relationship between their changing environment, job responsibilities, and themselves. This served as a catalyst for building the relationship between the organization and the individual. Feedback after the training included comments such as, "I had always thought of myself in a certain way, but I had never faced it directly. Through this training, I was able to understand myself and feel the potential for my growth." [Challenges and Background Faced by the Client] - To instill awareness of their roles as mid-level employees and to encourage proactive engagement with the expected roles and changes in the workplace, each individual was required to create a career development plan. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAt a comprehensive chemical manufacturer, the TPI (Tokyo University version of the Comprehensive Personality Inventory) has been conducted annually for over 50 years, targeting all employees. This initiative aims to rekindle interest in "oneself" and "others," which can often be overlooked in daily life, and to enhance awareness of mental health. It is a long-term human resource support measure designed to help each individual recognize their unique qualities and walk through life positively. The TPI is announced company-wide at a fixed time each year and is implemented in three phases. Representatives from each business site create a roster, and after a two-week input period, the results are generated, returned, and distributed to each individual. Additionally, to avoid misinterpretation, weekly briefing sessions are held in conjunction with the regular implementation, and participants have expressed that "listening to the explanation deepened their understanding," leading to a renewed recognition of the significance of the TPI. [Background] ■ Over 50 years ago, the pharmaceutical division of the comprehensive chemical manufacturer poorly treated employees, neglecting their humanity. ■ A personnel development officer who viewed this as a problem considered the need to create a company that cares about people. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case of conducting "safety training in the chemical industry" for a chemical manufacturer. In the workplace of the chemical manufacturer, the handling of hazardous materials and high-pressure reactions are performed daily, resulting in a high disaster risk; however, there have been no accidents to date. Nonetheless, near misses occur 2 to 3 times a month, indicating a need for further improvement in safety awareness. After the training, behaviors that were difficult to change based on supervisors' feedback showed a tendency to be more receptive to advice from peers, and the feedback during the training was evaluated as easy to accept. [Challenges] - Achievements in capability development through business behavior development training led to the consideration of applying the same TPI theory to introduce SWD in the safety field. - High disaster risk. - Near misses occurred 2 to 3 times a month. - Aiming to create a workplace where individuality is utilized and autonomous behavior is encouraged. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

The client was facing the challenge of weak collaboration among members, where individual efforts and achievements were not translating into the overall output of the team. In the follow-up feedback, we received comments such as, "Through the time spent in the residential training, it became easier to discuss minor work-related issues and communicate." 【Training Solutions】 ■ Day 1: Orientation (self-introduction), summary of characteristics observed in TPI ■ Day 2: Summary of advice sheets and group discussions ■ Day 3: Creation and presentation of action plans *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe are surrounded by various dangers in our daily lives. Whether we are working in a factory, driving a car, walking on the road, or handling electricity and gas at home... However, even with sufficient caution, there is always the possibility of making mistakes or having accidents. To prevent mistakes and accidents, it is important for each individual to understand their current state of mind and to know what to be careful about. TPI-SWD responds to these needs by providing information to individuals and those around them to help prevent mistakes and accidents (especially information related to behavioral hazards). Additionally, TPI-SWD has versions for driving and for work. *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.*
