The compact and lightweight PC oscilloscopes from Pico Technology enable the analysis of multi-channel signals necessary for the installation and adjustment of large-scale systems at a low cost. The PicoScope 2000 series achieves high performance with 4 channels, 100 MHz bandwidth, and 1 GS/s sampling rate, all while being lightweight at 200g and pocket-sized (130 x 104 x 18.8 mm). The PicoScope 4000A series model 4824A, with a tablet-sized body of 190 x 170 x 40 mm and weighing 550g, allows for detailed measurements with 8 channels, 20 MHz bandwidth, and 12-bit resolution. It is powered by bus power from the PC, eliminating the need for a dedicated power supply. The dedicated software PicoScope 7 can be downloaded for free, ensuring access to the latest software at any time. It operates on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Additionally, 40 types of serial protocol decoding functions are also provided free of charge.

Pico Technology (headquartered in Cambridge, UK) has added three new models of 6 GHz, 16 GHz, and 33 GHz to the existing 25 GHz model, the PicoScope 9404A-25, providing users with a wide range of options. The 33 GHz model features a rise time of less than 12 picoseconds, enabling high-precision measurements of fast signals. All models in the 9404A series have a vertical resolution of 12 bits and boast an RMS jitter performance of 1.5 picoseconds.

Pico Technology, a world-leading company in PC-based oscilloscopes based in the UK, has officially released a new Python package, pyPicoSDK, designed to make PicoScopes even easier to operate. The pyPicoSDK is built on the existing PicoSDK for engineers, developers, and amateurs, allowing for the creation of Python scripts that enable faster and simpler control of PicoScope devices. This new library extends the existing picosdk-python-packages and integrates driver functions for bulk handling. It also includes built-in helper functions that simplify the operation of PicoScope. This design reflects the fundamental principles of Python, allowing for the rapid and straightforward construction of solutions.
