Yajima Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is Japan's only specialized company that has transitioned from precision machinery manufacturing and metal processing to primarily focus on the repair and sale of cargo handling machinery for truck interiors, commonly known as Joroda. The company has a track record of approximately 1,000 rebuilt pallet loader repairs annually and has gained high trust as a manufacturer-certified repair contractor. In addition to repairs, the company also manufactures and sells its own parts and deals in used rebuilt products. In August 2022, it began manufacturing and selling its patented "2-Head Loader," which is an innovative product that can be operated from either the front or back, contributing to reduced work time, improved safety, and reduced burden on operators. It is also gaining attention as a countermeasure to the "Logistics 2024 Problem." Furthermore, the company emphasizes dialogue with customers by addressing all inquiries related to pallet loaders. It buys back and collects used products, overhauls those that can be reused for resale as second-hand items, and hands over those that cannot be reused to metal recycling companies, thereby promoting a sustainable business that contributes to the SDGs (Goals 8, 9, 11, 12).
