Free membership registrationDigital signal processing has an established theoretical framework. Representative processing concepts in digital signal processing include convolution, Fourier transform, z-transform, and filters. These concepts are interrelated under the common premise of sampling. Therefore, it is difficult to understand each processing concept in isolation. When all processing concepts are understood, the entirety of digital signal processing can be grasped. This book explains the overall picture of digital signal processing using MATLAB. MATLAB includes many processing functions suitable for understanding the concepts of digital signal processing, and its simplicity of expression, exemplified by the fact that the algorithm for fast Fourier transform (FFT) can be represented by a single function, allows for significant efficiency improvements in research and development. This book provides programming examples in MATLAB and is designed to deepen understanding by confirming the execution results. Readers are strongly encouraged to run the MATLAB programs included on the attached CD while progressing through the book.

Free membership registrationFrom the "Preface": As next-generation environmentally friendly vehicles, hybrid vehicles (HV), plug-in HVs, and electric vehicles (EV) are expected to become increasingly widespread in the future. Most of these drive motors utilize small, high-power, high-efficiency Nd magnet synchronous motors. Research on rare-earth-free drive motors is also active, but performance comparable to Nd magnet motors has not yet been achieved, and it is believed that the demand for Nd magnets in next-generation environmentally friendly vehicles will continue to expand. Free membership registration<Author> Masanori Kunida, Chief Researcher, Aroka Corporation Research Institute <Publication Date> July 11, 2002 <Format> B5 size, 250 pages <Price> 62,790 yen (including tax) The first half of this book is structured with a slight emphasis on theory. The first reason is that in order to quantitatively understand PLL, it is necessary to analyze it using equations from both the time domain and the frequency domain. The second reason is that if PLL is designed according to established principles based on quantitative analysis, the characteristics will invariably match the design specifications. The content explained over nine chapters covers the minimum necessary information to understand PLL. This information should be useful in practical applications such as total system design including PLL, PLL design, interpreting catalog information during device selection, evaluating prototype PLLs, and troubleshooting.
