Free membership registrationThis is a composite plating of hard chrome plating and fluororesin known by trademarks such as Teflon. It combines the high hardness and wear resistance of hard chrome plating with the non-stick and release properties of fluororesins. **Features** - **Release Properties and Wear Resistance** The excellent non-stick properties, low friction coefficient, and self-lubricating characteristics of fluororesins, along with the low friction coefficient of hard chrome plating, provide superior release properties and wear resistance compared to standard chrome plating and other fluororesin composite platings. - **Hardness** Since the base is chrome plating, it has a hardness of approximately Hv850. - **Heat Resistance** It is below the melting point of fluororesins (327°C). Continuous use is recommended around 250°C. - **Safety** It complies with the standards for utensils and containers based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Notification No. 370, making it suitable for applications where food comes into direct contact with the Teflon surface. *Analysis experiments have been conducted by the Japan Food Analysis Center.* - **Processing Characteristics** Due to the low processing temperature of about 200°C, there is minimal thermal impact on the material. - **Maintenance-Free, Long Lifespan**

Free membership registrationOur original surface treatment, "Tef-Lock," is a high-performance composite surface treatment technology that combines the high hardness and wear resistance of hard chrome plating with the non-stick and release properties of fluoropolymers known by trademarks such as Teflon. By adopting it for various guides and trays used in pharmaceutical equipment, it greatly contributes to improving line speed and reducing maintenance. The heat resistance temperature is approximately 250°C for continuous use. If you feel uncertain about the durability at 250°C due to the product's temperature, we highly recommend trying our "Heat-Resistant Tef-Lock," which has a heat resistance temperature of approximately 300°C to 350°C! For those interested, we will provide samples of Tef-Lock (standard type only). Please fill in the specific details you are considering. Additionally, we also conduct test applications on small parts. Please feel free to contact us. (Note: Test applications have some restrictions based on size and process.)

Free membership registration◆◇◆ Customer Feedback and Case Studies ◆◇◆ *Note: The effectiveness may vary depending on the molding method and usage conditions.* - "The oligomer no longer sticks." (Film Manufacturer) In the film manufacturing stretching process, hard chrome plating was applied to rolls that were subjected to high-temperature treatment, but oligomers were generated and adhered to the rolls. By adopting Teflock on the surface of the rolls, the issue of oligomer adhesion was resolved. - "It is effective in preventing adhesive adhesion." (Film Manufacturer) In the process of bonding films with adhesive, hard chrome plating was applied, but excess adhesive was sticking to the rolls, causing problems. When the surface treatment was changed from hard chrome to Teflock, the adhesion of the adhesive was reduced. - "The maintenance frequency of the screw has decreased." (Food Processing Manufacturer) By using Teflock on the screw for mixing and extruding food, the occurrence of burning and sticking was reduced. - "The maintenance frequency of the screw has decreased." (Resin Molding Manufacturer) By applying Teflock to the screw, the color fading when changing the extruded resin material color was improved.

Free membership registrationThe world's first amorphous chrome "Cloamor" is a chromium-based alloy plating that contains 2-4% carbon. Despite its thin film thickness of 3-4μ, it boasts high hardness and excellent wear resistance. 【Features】 ● It has an amorphous structure, exhibiting different properties compared to conventional crystalline structure plating. ● Through heat treatment, its hardness can reach a maximum of Hv 1,800, which is about twice that of hard chrome plating. ● In comparison to hard chrome plating, which rapidly softens at 400°C and only has a hardness of about Hv 200 at 600°C, once hardened, Cloamor maintains a hardness of Hv 1,000 even at 600°C, demonstrating excellent heat resistance. ● Due to the influence of the oxide film present on the surface, it has superior wear resistance compared to standard chrome plating. ● With no cracks present up to approximately 5μm in thickness, it exhibits good corrosion resistance. ● It has about 3 to 6 times the corrosion resistance against chemicals such as hydrochloric acid compared to hard chrome plating. ● Its thin film thickness of 3-4μ allows for functional enhancement of the base material without compromising precision. It demonstrates excellent effectiveness in fields requiring strict precision, such as semiconductor encapsulation molds and various precision components.

Free membership registrationBuff polishing, also known as buff finishing or buff grinding, is a process in which a soft buff made of flexible materials such as cloth, leather, or rubber is coated with abrasive particles. This buff is then rotated and pressed against the workpiece to polish its surface. By performing buff polishing, the surface condition of rolls and molds can be smoothed out. It is the ideal finishing method when a glossy surface is desired. For rolls, a surface finish of Rmax 0.8S to 0.4S is achievable after plating. We also accept processing of items provided by you. Free membership registrationThe pearlescent finish is a finishing method that creates a surface state with unevenness, known as "pearlescent," by physically striking particles such as alumina sand against the surface of the item. (It is also referred to as matte.) By changing the grit of the sand or the plating method, it is possible to create surfaces with various roughness, from fine to coarse. Our pearlescent rolls are widely used in the casting rolls of matte finish film manufacturing lines and in cooling rolls that prioritize release properties. Unlike the surface of a buff finish, which has a fine surface roughness, the pearlescent finish creates unevenness by physically roughening the surface, allowing for a relatively inexpensive improvement in the release properties between the item and the parts. Additionally, by combining pearlescent processing with special plating, it is also possible to adjust both roughness and glossiness simultaneously. Furthermore, if you want to improve release properties while maintaining the gloss of the film, we also offer a semi-matte finish that cuts only the tops of the pearlescent texture while leaving the pockets intact. We also reproduce existing pearlescent surfaces, so please feel free to contact us. *Sample pieces are available for loan. For details, please inquire.
