The Earth-Rite RTR is a device that can prevent accidents caused by grounding work during filling and discharging operations in tank truck vehicles. For example, during the filling operation of a tank truck, the operator may connect the grounding wire to an incorrect grounding point on the tank truck, or the grounding wire may become disconnected during liquid transport. In such cases, the tank truck can become charged to 10-30 kV within 15-50 seconds. This level is sufficient to cause ignition or explosion due to static electricity.
