We would like to introduce a case study of our precision humidity control generation device. The conventional split-flow method controls two parameters: flow rate and temperature, making it difficult to strictly control the absolute amount of water vapor generated. Additionally, there are challenges in manufacturing "humidity control devices" that require delicate control for aspects such as "humidity distribution," "condensation prevention," and "producing gas with an accurate dew point." To address this, we introduced our device that employs a unique dual-temperature dual-pressure method. By consolidating the parameters into one, we can achieve precise control over the absolute amount of water vapor generated. This has enabled the production of devices that maintain 95% humidity at 90°C, realizing precise and stable dew point generation and temperature-humidity settings. [Challenges] ■ High difficulty in manufacturing "humidity control devices" that require delicate control for aspects such as "humidity distribution," "condensation prevention," and "producing gas with an accurate dew point." ■ Strict control is difficult with the conventional split-flow method, which relies on two parameters: flow rate and temperature. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

This document introduces a case where a precise humidity generator (recirculating saturation tank method) was implemented for the long-term stability evaluation of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). Traditionally, there were issues such as temperature variations due to external heating, fluctuations in temperature and humidity levels caused by automatic water replenishment, and disturbances from seasonal and room temperature changes, making it difficult to maintain a precise and constant moisture level in hydrogen over extended periods. By introducing this product, the impact of disturbances was minimized, achieving stable humidification. The recirculating saturation tank method, which bubbles the humidified gas back into the water to equilibrate the liquid phase temperature before separating the gas and liquid, dramatically improved the reliability of long-term stability evaluations. [Challenges] - Temperature variations due to external heating and fluctuations in temperature and humidity levels from automatic water replenishment - Impact of disturbances from seasonal and room temperature changes - Maintaining a precise and constant moisture level in hydrogen sent to the fuel electrode over extended periods *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

Achieving a humidity control environment with zero condensation! We will introduce a case that improved the reproducibility and reliability of experiments by accommodating chamber temperatures from room temperature to 150 degrees. The tribological properties of materials such as metals can change significantly depending on the humidity environment. High humidity can lead to a thicker layer of adsorbed water on surfaces, which may reduce friction or, conversely, promote wear, making humidity control essential for the reproducibility and reliability of experiments. In this case, we developed a precise dew point generation device using our unique "two-temperature, two-pressure method," simplifying operations. We also undertook the custom development of test chambers tailored to the friction and wear testing machines currently in use, enabling localized friction property evaluations in assessments such as those using atomic force microscopy. [Challenges] ■ The tribological properties of materials such as metals change significantly with humidity. ■ Lack of humidity control leads to insufficient reproducibility and reliability in experiments. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
