• Sieve/Shaker

This is a Paladin-type pellet mill manufactured by Andritz, one of the world's leading pellet mill manufacturers, under the Feed & Biofuel division. It employs a belt drive system. The twin drive (with the first stage using a V-belt and the second stage using a timing belt) reduces noise and allows for a wider selection of die rotation speeds with standard specification motors by selecting the appropriate pulleys. Compared to gear systems, the running costs are lower. Oil is only used in the hydraulic unit located outside the machine, eliminating concerns about oil leaks inside the machine. The main shaft uses hydraulic disc brakes, similar to those in vehicles, to maintain a constant force. In the event of an overload, recovery time is significantly faster compared to conventional shear pin methods, as it only requires hydraulic release and re-pressurization. The die is fixed with bolts, allowing it to be reversed for use, which enables longer usage of the die by utilizing both sides.
