Non-contact linear displacement sensor MP-620 Absolute output

Non-contact linear displacement sensor that is resistant to vibrations and shock waves, ideal for position detection in linear devices such as air cylinders!

"MP-620 Series" Linear Displacement Sensor Utilizing multiple uniquely developed detection elements called "saturable coils," it detects the relative position to the detection body (magnet) non-contactly and provides linear output (voltage/current). Since each detection element captures the positional changes of the detection body (magnet), disturbances in output due to vibration or shock are almost nonexistent. The sensor part and the detection body are completely separated (8mm ± 2mm), preventing the generation of wear particles from contact. It is also suitable for absolute position detection of magnets embedded in oil pneumatic cylinders, etc. (Absolute). Ideal for measuring displacement in robotic arms and similar applications. 【Main Features】 ■ Power supply voltage DC +24V ■ Output MP-620 (voltage output 1-5V) MP-621 (current output 4-20mA) ■ Effective length 100mm to 800mm * Please consult for lengths over 800mm (maximum support up to 1600mm) ■ Repetition accuracy within 0.1mm ■ Capable of detecting various magnets compared to our conventional linear displacement sensors * Adjustments may be necessary. ■ Compared to our sleeve sensors, it has very little dead space and is compact. * There is also a small type MP-4731 with a 15mm stroke.

Using a two-pole magnet, it achieves a detection distance (the gap between the sensor and the magnetic body) of 8mm ± 2mm. It allows for eccentricity within Φ1mm (±0.5mm). Due to the lack of mechanical connections, it is resistant to vibration and shock, making it suitable for use in rotating parts of robotic arms and construction machinery without coupling. Additionally, due to the absence of resistance, it can also be applied to tension control for films and paper. Please consult us regarding the shape of the magnetic body and the number of pulses per rotation.
