The GS-315 type has top-class features among all guide sensors in history. It enables stable induction that is not affected by dust, dirt, etc., to detect the magnetism from the "guide tape." Since it uses a unique detection element developed by Makome Research Institute, it can maintain a significant operational distance from the "guide tape." Magnetic Tape "Sample Available for Loan" Route magnetic tape (guidance tape) for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) Our "Guide Sensor" is adjusted for sensitivity to match this "Guide Tape (Magnetic Tape)." It is the optimal magnet for route use with our "Guide Sensor." By using our "Guide Sensor" together with this "Guide Tape," you can achieve a significantly larger detection distance. - Being soft, it is resistant to bending and can be easily cut (processed) to fit the travel route. - It has a color laminated film on the surface to protect the magnetic layer and prevent wear. - The backside is equipped with double-sided adhesive tape, allowing for immediate installation by simply sticking it to the travel route. Various shapes are available to suit different usage conditions. When used in combination with the Makome Laboratory's Guide Sensor, stable guidance is possible. *Occasionally, look-alike guide tapes are sold, but they may have unstable magnetic retention and cause malfunctions. Please use Makome's guide tape with the Makome Guide Sensor.

GS-500 Series This is a guide sensor compliant with CAN2.0A (ISO-11898-1). ■ Straight guidance mode output ■ Left and right branching mode output ■ Parallel (15bit) output are always output, allowing for the appropriate signals to be captured as needed! Furthermore, the detection surface and cable exit direction can now be selected! ▶ Flexible adaptation to compact or low-floor vehicle designs is expected. The blue anodized case is fully metal (IP67 structure) and has a robust construction. A standard digital-analog output type is also available. We manufacture approximately 40,000 iron balls with a diameter of 10φ every day, and among them, defective products (magnetized iron balls) are mixed in. Currently, only random sampling inspections are conducted, which allows defective products to escape. There was a request for "monitoring of magnetized iron balls on the automated line" and "to maintain a detection distance of 30mm between the detection object and the sensor due to the line structure." We installed the guide sensor "GS-116" manufactured by Makome Research Institute on the line conveyor, enabling the detection of the magnetic field of the iron balls and their expulsion (although this depends on the strength of the magnetic field). The GS-515 adheres to the electrical specifications of the GS-315 and adopts a newly developed case based on the GS-550. It is a guide sensor that is waterproof (IP-67) and resistant to vibration and shock, combining the best features. It is smaller than the GS-315, allowing for greater installation flexibility.
