The SI-140PAC is a packaged linear encoder that comes with a display unit and can be used immediately with a power supply of AC100V. We have adopted the "Kanban production system" and produce 15 varieties of products on one line, but on busy days, up to 8 "changeovers" are required. Therefore, we installed the "SI-140PAC (Incremental)" made by Makome Research Institute on the aluminum cutting machine. At an automotive safety inspection company, the steering wheel rotation angle of vehicles was measured using optical sensors.
