In 1997, Vaisala launched a new type of dew point sensor called DRYCAP, based on polymer thin film technology. Since then, the applications of the DRYCAP series have expanded to a very wide range, including drying processes, compressed air, and dry chambers. DRYCAP sensors are particularly valued for their reliable performance in high-temperature and very dry environments.

The Vaisala BAROCAP, released in 1985, is a silicon-based micromechanical pressure sensor that provides reliable performance for a wide range of applications, from weather observation to industrial measurement. The BAROCAP sensor combines two effective technologies: single-crystal silicon material and capacitive measurement, featuring high accuracy and long-term stability, along with low hysteresis. The DMP5 is a dew point probe designed for measuring dew points in high-temperature environments. The probe is made of long, durable stainless steel. The "DMP8" is a dew point probe designed for measurement in industrial low dew point environments such as industrial drying processes, compressed air systems, and the semiconductor industry. It can be mounted on a 1/2" NPT or 1/2" ISO PT thread, and the insertion length is adjustable. The Vaisala DRYCAP(R) DMT345/DMT346 dew point transmitter is an ideal measurement device for industrial drying equipment that performs direct dew point measurements in high-temperature environments, such as cooking ovens and high-temperature dryers, without using a sampling system. The Vaisala DRYCAP(R) sensor provides accurate and reliable measurements with excellent long-term stability and fast response.

The DMT152, designed for low dew point measurement capable of measuring down to -80°C, is ideal for industrial applications such as the semiconductor industry, pure gases, dryers, glove boxes, drying chambers, and additive manufacturing, as well as for applications requiring trace moisture management.

The DMT143 and DMT143L dew point converters provide accurate dew point measurements and are suitable for small compressed air dryers, plastic dryers, additive manufacturing, and other OEM applications. Both models can be easily connected and used with the Vaisala DM70 handheld dew point meter. The intrinsically safe explosion-proof HMT370EX series is ideal for use in hazardous locations Zone 0 and Zone 20. This converter outputs not only relative humidity and temperature measurements but also other humidity parameters (dew point temperature, wet bulb temperature, absolute temperature, mixing ratio, moisture concentration, moisture mass fraction, water vapor pressure, enthalpy). Models for measuring moisture in general oil and aviation turbine fuel are also available. The main applications include industries and processes where intrinsic safety and explosion-proofing are required for humidity or moisture measurement in fuel storage tanks, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food production, and painting booths.

With Vaisala Insight software, you can quickly access the settings and data of the Indigo product series measurement probes and other compatible Vaisala devices. The probes can be removed from the process and connected to a PC via USB cable for configuration and field calibration, allowing for simultaneous connection of up to 6 devices. It is available in English and Japanese versions and is compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
