We would like to introduce a case of disassembly and maintenance of a large air conditioning unit at a commercial facility. At this facility, issues included abnormal noise from bearings due to aging, deterioration of the motor over time, and a decrease in capacity due to clogging in the heat exchange section. Therefore, we implemented comprehensive management of disassembly maintenance and cleaning operations. By cleaning the heat exchange section and the filters, clogging was eliminated, and capacity improved. We would like to introduce a case study of local exhaust hood design and construction carried out for a manufacturer of fragrances. At this manufacturer, the odors from fragrance raw materials and solvents were pervasive, and the exhaust equipment was insufficient, resulting in a poor working environment for the workers. Therefore, we implemented odor control measures while ensuring the workflow by custom-making hoods at various locations, including comprehensive design and construction. To the pump manufacturer, we would like to introduce a case study of the design and construction of a local exhaust hood. In this case, the manufacturer was experiencing an accumulation of odors from organic solvents used during cleaning in the work area, which was affecting the working environment. Therefore, we conducted a site survey and designed the hood (custom-made to minimize disruption to the existing workflow based on interviews with the users), and handled the installation of equipment and the electrical control panel as a comprehensive package. With the improvement of odors, we also introduced an activated carbon filter unit, which addressed concerns for the surrounding area, and we were able to maintain the first management category in the working environment, leading to an overall improvement.
