Milo is a cutting-edge device that can analyze protein expression at the single-cell level. It can identify subpopulations of cells that cannot be observed with traditional Western blotting. In other words, it allows for the study of specific cell types within heterogeneous samples. Milo performs single-cell Westerns (scWesterns) on over 1,000 cells in a single measurement. In a significantly shorter time than traditional Western blotting, it provides expression information for up to four types of proteins from a single cell, enabling the analysis of characteristic behaviors, expressions, and variations within small populations of cells in the sample.

As part of the "Hometown Ibara Future Creation Human Resource Development Project," we welcomed local elementary and middle school students to the special summer program "Ibara Job Exploration Tour 2025," a collaboration between the Ibara City Chamber of Commerce and the Corporate Branding Committee. We conducted a presentation that clearly and enjoyably introduced how our technology supports society, allowing the children to learn about the appeal of manufacturing and the significance of working while interacting with actual devices and products. Through this initiative, we hope to deepen our connection with the community and nurture the curiosity of the children who will carry the future.
