As the issue of climate change becomes more serious, the importance of environmental and energy policies is increasing. However, looking abroad, in the United States, the Trump administration made significant shifts in environmental and energy policies, and even in Europe, which has been leading in environmental measures, there are movements to simplify environmental regulations and revise policies. Meanwhile, in our country, Mr. Takai, who points out the issues with mega-solar projects, has become Prime Minister, and a review of renewable energy-related subsidies is underway. This lecture will organize the domestic and international situations surrounding environmental and energy issues and examine the future direction of environmental and energy policies in our country.
