We are pleased to announce that hot air heating using a hydrogen burner has become possible in the hot air zone of the paint drying furnace (QCO)!

In our company's thermal technology research institute, we have a hybrid painting and drying test furnace (Quick Curing System: QCO) that can accommodate various sizes of workpieces, as well as a complete painting booth and guns! We can conduct various thermal equipment studies, including painting and drying. Additionally, we have recently made it possible to heat the hot air zone of the painting and drying furnace (QCO) using a hydrogen burner. With simple operation, it is possible to switch between LPG and hydrogen for combustion.

The "ammonia combustion burner," considered one means of decarbonization, has successfully achieved stable combustion in ammonia-only operation with Daigas Energy Co., Ltd., a 100% subsidiary of Osaka Gas Co., Ltd., using a heat exchanger-integrated waste heat recovery burner. It has also achieved a mixing ratio with city gas ranging from 0% to 100%, contributing to the decarbonization and low carbonization of high-temperature fields such as aluminum production.
