In civil engineering sites, workers often stand for long periods and move repeatedly between material storage areas, break areas, and work locations. Uneven ground or muddy areas can make walking unstable, which may increase the burden on the feet and lower back as workers try to protect their footing.
Hyper CLT mats are civil engineering CLT materials that utilize laminated CLT wood. By laying them down in worker pathways, assembly areas, around break areas, and material storage sites, they can reduce ground unevenness and mud, ensuring stable walking paths. Creating a more walkable surface helps reduce the burden on workers' feet and prevent falls.
The 5×10 panels weigh approximately 230 kg, and the 5×20 panels weigh about 460 kg, making them lightweight and easy to handle even with small machinery, which also contributes to labor-saving in installation and removal. Additionally, they have unique characteristics of wood, such as glare reduction, noise suppression, and CO2 fixation. These wooden mats are registered as a technology with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism under NETIS as "TH-250021-A," and can be utilized for safety measures, improving work environments, and innovative ideas in public works.
