In civil engineering sites, it has become an era where environmentally conscious material selection is required. Hyper CLT sheets are eco-friendly temporary materials that utilize wood CLT and can be used on-site.
Wood absorbs CO2 during its growth process and fixes it as carbon, so using it as a material for an extended period contributes to reducing environmental impact. Furthermore, the 5×10 sheets are relatively lightweight at about 230 kg, allowing for a maximum of 40 sheets to be loaded onto a 10-ton truck. Depending on site conditions, this can reduce the number of transport trips, which can also help decrease CO2 emissions during transportation.
Additionally, compared to steel sheets, they are easier to manage in terms of summer glare and radiant heat, and they are less likely to produce metallic sounds, making them useful for heat and noise mitigation.
Hyper CLT sheets are registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism under the NETIS technology "TH-250021-A." They combine wood, NETIS, civil engineering, and CLT to create a new eco-friendly material that balances environmental consideration with practical usability on-site.
