In the ICC's premier presentation battle "Catapult Grand Prix," SPACECOOL representative Masahiro Suemitsu won second place.
We are pleased to announce that our representative, Suemitsu, participated in the pitch contest "Catapult Grand Prix" at the community-based executive conference "ICC Summit KYOTO 2026," held in Kyoto from August 31 to September 3, 2026, and achieved second place.
Among the pitch programs, the "Catapult Grand Prix" is regarded as the pinnacle. At KYOTO 2026, 39 judges, including executives and officers from large and listed companies, as well as representatives and partners from prominent venture capital firms both domestically and internationally, served as judges. We are very honored that our representative, Suemitsu, who was participating for the first time, achieved second place among presenters who have previously ranked highly in Catapult or have similar accomplishments.
In the presentation, we demonstrated how SPACECOOL contributes to climate change adaptation and presented a vision of cooling cities and, ultimately, the Earth as a zero-energy cooling infrastructure. We also introduced how SPACECOOL is already being utilized globally in a wide range of areas, including energy efficiency improvements in buildings, reducing the risk of heat-related illnesses, and enhancing economic efficiency in livestock facilities.
