The building materials required at civil engineering sites in the future will not only focus on strength and durability. We are entering an era where multiple values such as ease of construction, transportation efficiency, environmental considerations, and reducing the burden on workers are being demanded.
In this context, a new option is the wooden lightweight mat "Hyper CLT Mat," which utilizes CLT (Cross Laminated Timber).
The 5×10 panel weighs approximately 230 kg, making it relatively lightweight and easy to install, remove, and relocate. It can be used in a wide range of locations, including temporary roads, access routes, heavy machinery work yards, and material storage areas. Additionally, it offers environmental benefits such as reducing glare and metal noise, as well as CO2 fixation, which are unique to wood.
The Hyper CLT Mat is a registered technology with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) under NETIS as "TH-250021-A."
As a wooden lightweight mat that combines wood, NETIS, civil engineering, and CLT, it aims to change the way construction is done from the ground up. The Hyper CLT Mat aspires to be a new building material that supports the future of construction sites.
