■Main Survey Results

About half of the employees are working without communicating the burden of their parents' aging to their workplace. If issues such as sudden early departures, absences, or caregiving-related resignations are only noticed after they occur, both the company and the employees will have limited options to address them. The report also introduces the support that employees are seeking from their workplace and the voices of those directly affected. Business owners and HR personnel considering support for employees balancing work and caregiving or preventing caregiving-related resignations are encouraged to take a look.
*Survey Target: 104 employees residing in Chiba Prefecture working in small and medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 500 employees, dealing with the aging of parents (May 2026, internet survey).
