● Calrez is a polymer material classified as a perfluoroelastomer. ● Like Calrez, Teflon (PTFE: polytetrafluoroethylene) and fluororubber (elastomer), which belong to the fluoropolymer category, are known for their excellent heat and chemical resistance. ● The structure of Calrez consists of a main chain part: TFE (tetrafluoroethylene), a branching part: PMVE (perfluoromethyl vinyl ether), and a crosslinking part, and it is fully fluorinated, having a structure very similar to Teflon.
