Previously, there were no rod-shaped lenses available to uniformly project the light from continuously arranged LEDs over a long distance, forcing the use of larger LEDs. However, by using rod-shaped precision lenses, it has become possible to project LED light approximately four times farther. This allows for the use of smaller LEDs, achieving space-saving and energy-saving benefits, as well as reducing manufacturing and running costs for the equipment.
