You can select up to 5 expansion modules for one CPU module. You can select up to 3 pulse modules, and it can be expanded from 4 axes to 12 axes. You can select up to 5 I/O modules, and it can be expanded to 160 input points and 160 output points. EX-CPU This is the mainboard of the EX series. This product allows for the expansion of up to 5 additional boards. The EX-PG4 can accommodate a maximum of 3 boards (12 axes), the EX-IO32 can be combined with 1 to 5 boards (varies with the number of other boards), and the EX-ADDA0804 can also be combined with 1 to 5 boards (varies with the number of other boards).

EX-PG4 is a dedicated 4-axis motor controller for the EX series. It can be expanded with up to 3 additional boards (for a maximum of 12 axes) on the EX-CPU. It supports trapezoidal and S-curve acceleration/deceleration, interpolation control, and allows for changes in speed and movement amount during operation.
