This is the "Trigger Input Function" available in the series equipped with Cosmotex's proprietary development 'PGS (Pulse Generation Software)'. By setting the input signal as a trigger, it is possible to start the drive on a specified axis or generate an interrupt signal. Since these are configured within the PGS, they are not affected by external environmental factors. When controlling motor operations or general-purpose I/O, it is possible to implement safety measures such as stopping all axes via ALM input in software, or quickly driving other axes by monitoring the BUSY signal. Naturally, it does not depend on a PC, so even if the PC is in a frozen state, processing can still be executed (no additional wiring is required).
