Direct-type internal pressure sensor, tip diameter 1.2mm, 6184A
6184AAE, 6184ACE, and others.
Compact sensor with a tip diameter of Φ1.2mm!
The 6184A series in-mold pressure sensor measures in-mold pressure for plastic injection molding up to 2,000 bar. Since there is no diaphragm at the tip, it can be machined up to a maximum of 0.3mm to fit the shape of the mold's inner surface. -* Features *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- • Capable of measuring up to 2,000 bar • Machining at the tip is possible due to the absence of a diaphragm

basic information
The tip diameter of the sensor protrusion of the in-mold pressure sensor 6184A is φ1.2mm. The cable section is a single wire, with a very small cross-section and flexibility. Installation requires the use of a connector mounting plate, and it must be securely fixed to prevent the connector part from loosening. When the sensor tip directly receives the pressure inside the mold and transmits it to the piezoelectric element, a charge is generated that is accurately proportional to the pressure. This charge is converted into voltage by a charge amplifier (sold separately). All components are made of corrosion-resistant materials. Additionally, the Fischer connector can be automatically secured and is treated for splash protection. For multi-channel measurements, use the multi-channel connector 1708B...(for 4 channels) or 1710B...(for 8 channels).

Applications/Examples of results
This internal pressure sensor has been developed for multi-channel use and is particularly effective when installation space is limited. Additionally, it is designed so that the sensor tip does not rotate, preventing damage to the sensor.
