Originally, the goal was to systematize the company's operations in order to optimize the overall process as much as possible, creating a single seamless system for the entire company. However, the more we pursued this approach, the more we ended up with systems that seemed good and efficient at first glance, but from the users' perspective, there was a disconnect between the concept of overall optimization and individual tasks. The better the system, the more it sometimes led to the notion that "it's the user's fault if they can't use it." At that moment, I realized that since the system is used by "individuals," the more we tried to create a system that represented overall optimization as a single entity for the company, the more it distanced itself from the individual users' needs. Therefore, instead of focusing on the entire company's operations, we shifted our focus to the individual users. There is no such thing as a "business person"; it is the "individual" who carries out the tasks. So, we aimed to create tools that the individuals performing the tasks could actually use.

In small and medium-sized enterprises, a multi-skilled working style where one person handles multiple roles is the norm. Work tends to concentrate on a single individual, which often makes it difficult to take vacations and leads to increased overtime and weekend work. Most companies have individuals whom they cannot afford to lose. Regardless of whether it is good or bad, these are people who take on too much work themselves. When such a person has to take a leave of absence or resign for any reason, it can create significant problems for those around them. When we talk about developing a system for overall optimization to solve the current situation, the reality is that work is attached to individuals. Therefore, unless we focus on the people and create a system (using IT as a tool), we cannot detach work from them. This is why we shifted to outsourcing the work that individuals are holding.
