It is possible to measure the stiffness and recovery of materials such as fabric, paper, non-woven fabric, as well as hair and film when they are bent.
The measured values are obtained using a force gauge that is calibrated to fingertip sensitivity, so they align with sensory evaluations. Accurate measurements can be made even with samples that have different treatments, such as surface treatment or flexibility treatment. It is a pure bending testing machine that is versatile and can be used for various types of objects.

basic information
● By conducting a pure bending test, it is possible to measure the stiffness and recovery of paper, non-woven fabric, and cloth when bent. ● Differences in treatment (such as surface treatment and softening treatment) can be measured. ● The measurement is completed in about 20 seconds. ● Since the "force" of stiffness and recovery when bent can be read instantly, data analysis can be performed easily. ● The measured values are consistent with sensory evaluation because a force gauge that matches fingertip sensitivity is used.
