The automatic mounting machine (chip mounter) sets electronic component reels in a dedicated feeder (feeding device), then uses a nozzle built into the mounter to pick up the components, and can accurately place them at pre-programmed coordinate positions on a printed circuit board that has been coated with cream solder.

Our equipment has eight suction nozzles, and the machine can set multiple parts, allowing it to continuously pick and place various components. This enables significantly faster and more accurate placement compared to manual handling. Additionally, the placement machine is equipped with a component recognition camera, which can detect differences in size or orientation for chip components, as well as variations in shape, lead count, and pitch for IC components. This image inspection process allows us to identify and prevent incorrect placements before they occur.
