Powder Coating Troubleshooting: Pinholes (Foaming)

We are introducing measures to address issues such as the residue of oils and other substances on the surface of coated items caused by poor degreasing!

This is a phenomenon where small holes appear on the surface of the paint film, resembling pinpricks, known as "pinholes (foaming)." We will introduce troubleshooting for this issue. When the substrate has voids, such as in castings, zinc-plated materials, or aluminum die casts, foaming from porous substrates can be addressed by pre-baking the substrate or applying a solvent or powder primer before painting.
